As expected, reptiles are weak in winter.

 I picked up a long-tailed snake around September, in the fall.

I fed it crickets and raised it well, but it died around December.

It was fun to hold and pet, but it's a shame.


 When I was serving in the military, I often saw lizards while on guard duty.
They were such a welcome companion, helping me to relieve my boredom.
